Here are the awesome elliptical brushed aluminum canopy design by HKS Inc in phoenix children’s hospital in Arizona. Phoenix Children’s is one of the ten largest children’s hospitals in the Arizona and provides specialty and sub-specialty inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and emergency care to patients throughout Arizona and other Southwestern states.
Project description from Eventscape:
The architects designed an elliptical brushed aluminum canopy over the main reception counter in this soaring three storey atrium featuring plenty of natural light and bright colors. The three rings cover an area of 22’ x 28’. All rings were laser cut, rolled and welded with aluminum fins as joiner plates and hand polished. The outer ring has an 8” x 12” profile with a reveal to incorporate the cathode lighting. The canopy was suspended using a combination of nautical stainless steel rigging and custom concealed stainless steel mounts.
