Architects, The house has three floors. At the top level is projected to each room from the core of the house. On this floor the windows are folded to reveal specific views of the landscape and buildings – one David Chipperfield Museum of Modern Literature in the valley, in Marbach am Neckar. There are two indoor and outdoor. Middle floor of the building is treated as a public space with a large lobby and large panoramic windows create a sense of spectacle. Exterior and interior seems very modern in style, in fact, even futuristic. Dupli.Casa geometry based on the footprint of the house which was on the site, originally built in 1984 and with many extensions and modifications since then. The new building echoes the “family archeology” by duplication and rotation. Raised, it creates a semi-public space on ground level between two layers of discretion. The spatial configuration of the city performs a sophisticated connection between inside and outside spectacular views and offers more of the old town of Marbach and the German literature archive on the other side of the Neckar valley.
