Here’s the invisible chair make from Acrylic, Mirror Film, LED, Ultrasonic sensor, Custom Electronics and Code designer by Ben Alun-Jones. Acrylic plastic sheet and form a reflective layer is used to create a structure that reflects and blends with its surroundings. The president not only responds to camouflage himself and live up to their environment, but also interacts directly with the sitter: pulse sensors activate LEDs hidden within its framework that gives life, like a heartbeat, because addressed. The effect is astounding: the chair is lit from within, its reflective surface becomes transparent and all edges are illuminated. The disappearance of the chair is an attempt to escape, even encourage this strange object remains close to the ground, to escape the body, revealing a hidden interior.The Affinity Chair will feature at the Royal College of Art Interim Show (Wed 2nd – Mon 7th Feb) as well as appearing at V&A Connects with… ARTS THREAD (Tues 25th Jan) and the V&A Digital Festival (Sat 5th March), both at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. let’s see the Plastic Acrylic and One Way Mirror Film Make The Invisible Chair picture below:
